Edithvale Consulting Clinic at Edithvale, Victoria is located on the sea side of the Nepean Highway. The clinic is home to consultant psychiatrists and psychologists who cover a range of services catered to individuals and couples. We also offer Medicare rebates to clients referred to us by their General Practitioner.
Consultant Psychiatrists
Dr. Yong is a general adult consultant psychiatrist servicing the Bayside area.
She works with patients ranging from 18 years of age onwards who present with any of the following disorders -
Depression, bipolar disorder and other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, psychosis and personality issues.
She has expertise in assessing, diagnosing and managing mental illness and emotional disorders using a biological, psychological, social and spiritual context/framework.
She provides both pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy and tailors the treatment to the individual's needs.
She also does once off 291 assessments and management plans for the GPs.
She does not see medico-legal, Workcover or TAC cases.
She does not prescribe stimulants.
How do I arrange to see Dr. Yong?
A doctor's referral is necessary for you to qualify for the Medicare Rebate. This referral needs to be provided prior to an appointment being offered and there may be a waiting time for an appointment.

Dr. Rudra is a consultant adult psychiatrist who is also working within the public health system, after obtaining fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Having trained and worked in women’s health for many years, Dr. Rudra has a special interest in women’s mental health and the cultural aspects of psychiatry.
She welcomes referrals for:
* Mood disorders - Depression, Bipolar
* Anxiety disorders
* Schizophrenia & other psychotic disorders
* Stress
* Grief & bereavement
Dr. Rudra will also accept referrals for patients who require a management plan and will work with general practitioners to provide a comprehensive assessment (item no: 291).
Dr. Rudra does not see medico-legal, Workcover or TAC cases.
She does not prescribe stimulant drugs.
